a stupid question, Daddy:
mean-spirited, too.
You can always trap a
frightened man with a stupid
question, and here’s why:
A victim always
has way too much respect for
brutality, and
none whatsoever
for his nimble human mind.
We can talk some more
when, at last, we meet –
assuming, as I always do,
that, someday, we will.
