Fat Kitchen

Fat Kitchen useless -
we don't have a lot of silver;
Fat Kitchen pointless -
we don't have the breath to talk.
Fat Kitchen,
we begrudge the shadow of palm,
but you have what you can carry
in your belly or your mouth.

Every thought I have is smothered by an urge,
and every urge I have is louder than a voice:
a willingness to let un-nature take its course.
Un-nature takes its course.
Un-nature takes its course.

Fat Kitchen worthless -
what's the point in room for storage?
Fat Kitchen pointless -
and I wish you glutton's luck.
Fat Kitchen,
we have heard your threats and accusations,
so your mission is accomplished:
would you leave us eat in peace?

But every voice I hear I easily dismiss,
and each dismissal helps me sleep another day:
a willingness to let un-nature have its way.
Un-nature has its way.
Un-nature has its way.

Fat Kitchen peerless -
rhetoricians at the window.
Fat Kitchen fearless -
and in luxury beware.
Fat Kitchen,
where's the girl who offered me the oysters?
She said, "Come back before Twelfth Night
when I have a spoon to clean."

Every thought I have is smothered by an urge,
and every urge I have is louder than a voice:
a willingness to let un-nature take its course.
Un-nature takes its course.
Un-nature takes its course.

But every voice I hear I easily dismiss,
and each dismissal helps me sleep another day:
a willingness to let un-nature have its way.
Un-nature has its way.
Un-nature has its way.
