Yes,We Have No Tomorrows

Yes, we have no tomorrows.
You burned up all your moments,
and half of mine.
You have fallen asleep,
and missed me for sure.

Yes, we have no tomorrows.
You woke at noon somewhere
in I Don't Know How.
You have missed me. Indeed,
you'll miss me today.

Why would there not
be much more
left to learn?
Obviously,
there's much much
left to burn:

More oil.
More woods.
More should-nots.
More shoulds.
More bridges.
More bridges.
More bridges.

Why would there not
be much more
left to mind?
We spoon
in the ashes,
and what do we find?

More oil.
More wood.
More should-nots.
More shoulds.
More bridges.
More bridges.
More bridges.

Yes, we have no tomorrows.
There is a sea of hours,
and not one to spare.
You are biding your time.
I'll miss you.
Good night.
